This week on The Little Radio Show we continue our conversation about the recent elections and how they’ve affected our relationships with friends and acquaintances. (This is part two of a conversation we began in Episode 69.)
We also talk about 2016 -- what we liked, didn’t like, and what we accomplished. And, yes, we take a look at what we’d like to accomplish in 2017.
This week on The Little Radio Show we help Anjelica celebrate her birthday (did you know we LOVE birthdays?). Join us as we wish her a happy birthday. And we ask the question: Are you supposed to thank every person who sends you a birthday greeting on Facebook?
We share part 1 of a two part conversation about the election of Donald Trump, what his becoming President-elect has meant to us and what we hope (and fear) about the new administration.
And she share a throwback segment: we share our favorite Christmas memories. (This segment originally aired in 2016).
This week on The Little Radio Show we continue our conversation with Ashley Amanda Segura, the voice behind New Mom in a New Era, and we bring in Jeff Segura, from The Daddy Style Diaries. Ashley blogs about being a young mom to a 1-year-old and other parenting and lifestyle topics. Jeff blogs about fatherhood, fashion, and other lifestyle topics.
We originally invited Ashley to come onto the show to discuss how she handles it when people — especially in the blogging community — say (after being introduced) “oh, you’re Jeff’s wife!” This is in spite of the fact that she began blogging before Jeff (her husband) and actually has a larger audience. In this episode we bring in Jeff to get his point of view.

And we’re still trying to figure out why. Listen in and tell us what you think … and, be warned, this is part 1 of a two-part conversation. Next week’s episode includes us bringing Jeff into the studio to talk about this from his perspective.

And in this week’s PSA soapbox, Sandra reminds everyone to get more sleep, talking about some of the ways lack of sleep impacts your health, your productivity and your life.
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about what we’ve been up to lately and why we seem (and are) so busy.
This week on The Little Radio Show we took a recording hiatus, so we’re revisiting a few segments from previous episodes. We share some ghost stories in honor of Halloween (from episode 14). And we revisit our interview with Kathy Cano-Murillo, also know as Crafty Chica (from episode 15).
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk with Roselyn Wyatt, a marketing professor at St. Thomas University who is launching a new show on HMSnetradio.org that focuses on corporate responsibility and sustainability. She helps businesses be a strong force for good.

This week on The Little Radio Show we talk with Karen Naumann, from the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest United States, and with Vianney Rodriguez, from the Sweet Life food blog, about the “One Table, Two Families” Israel+Latino fusion recipe contest.
The recipe contest is an interesting project that invites Houstonians to celebrate both cultures through food. Participation is easy:

This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about how we deal with stress. What are our strengths and weaknesses? What do we do (or stop doing) when we start getting too busy?
We also take a look at some of our favorite (and not-so-favorite) project management tools, including Basecamp, Asana, Trello, Slack, and Dropbox. Which do you use?
This week on The Little Radio Show we visit with Valerie Carmona, fashion blogger at Val Around Town. Discussion topics include:
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about the passing of Juan Gabriel, our one year of podcasting, and a recent trip that Juan and Anjelica took to Los Angeles for their first commercial production.
This week on The Little Radio Show we take a moment to remind you to check and make sure that you’re registered to vote. There’s a big election coming up and we’d like to encourage everyone to get out and actually vote.
Did you know that Blab shut down? We talk a little about our experiences with the service and about some changes coming to Facebook Live and Google Hangouts.
We also take a look at how the first day of school illustrates how working mothers need help to make sure kids make it to everything they need.
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about the very awkward circumstances that may (will) prompt a need to stop being friends with someone. When is it time to cut the cord? How do you approach it?
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about the realities of how a computer dying affects your life when you run your freelancing business off of it. We also take a look at the (good impact) that back to school means for parents.

This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about a group of interns who were fired for asking that their dress code be changed.
And we look at how a little bit of artistic activity can reduce your stress, regardless of your level of accomplishment (so don’t worry if nobody can tell what’s in the drawing).
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about Selena (again!).
Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla Perez is slated to (finally) get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2017. We talk about Selena a lot in the show, and this week is no exception, as we discuss our joy at the news that she’ll be honored with a star.
We also talk about our opinions on the USA Network remake of “La Reina del Sur,” “The Queen of the South.” Have you seen it yet? What do you think?
This week on The Little Radio Show we talk about all things nerdy (from an entertainment point of view) ...
... the end of TV show "Person of Interest," considered to be one of the best science fiction shows on the small screen ...
... and our opinion on season 6 of "Game of Thrones" and the secrets revealed in the season finale ... did you know that there's a mariachi version of their theme song? (We can thank my co-host Juan Alanis for pointing this out ...
... and 'The Walking Dead" show creators added new characters and don't let the comic books dictate the entire storyline, which provides some nice surprises for die-hard fans ...
... and "True Blood" (on HBO) did the same thing, though not as well ...
... and, did you know that the song "Happy Birthday" was copyrighted? Well, it's not anymore! Which means that the company that had claimed to own the copyright will have to pay back $14 million. It also means that the song is in public domain, and we don't have to pay to use it in movies, etc...
... and, from the word nerd files, the words "internet" and "web" are no longer capitalized, according to Associated Press. So, even though you may not have been capitalizing them (up until now), now you'll be correct.
This week on The Little Radio Show we were on a recording hiatus. We bring you a compilation of outtakes and digital extras from conversations throughout this year. This week we talk about:
